I feel itchy

I don't want to gross you out, but I'm pretty sure my hair was full of bacteria.
How do I know this?
Well, Saturday morning, being the good martyr.
mother and wife I am, I decided to save the last bit of shampoo for my husband and daughter and use dial antibacterial soap instead.
The result?
Fabulous, shiny and soft hair!
I done got all the bugs out! YeeHaw!
No more of them e'spensive shampoos for me.
Just give me some soap on a roap, and I'm good to go.
Wonder if I could brush my teeth with it?
Bet I could use it as sidewalk chalk, and carve a figurine out of it when I'm done.
My life has changed.
Forever.

I used to use ivory soap instead of gel or mouse when I was a teen. I had this awesome mullet that was really short on the top and I would use ivory soap and then a hair dryer to make my hair all curly and yet spikey on the top. My older sister gave me the idea...it kept my hair in place without making it crunchy...
so you could just wash, not rinse and then dry and style your hair...

a dial a day will do it!

It could just be that your hair likes change. Every few washings I change it up and use a different shampoo and those are the days it is the best. I guess it's something about a different formula removing different things that the other might not catch.

Glad to hear your hair is fabulous, shiny and soft! Sacrifice has its rewards :)

I love your new background, especially the angel food cake with the pink icing. Yum!

I'll just have to take your word for it.

I totally believe you, 100%. I'm just not into soap on my hair, make me think of mullets...kind like Haffalump's experience.

This is how very important discoveries and inventions are made Carrot! When people are showering, and being martyrs. That combination is powerful.

I'm interested enough to give it a try. If I ever showered...

I didn't know you could do that with bar soap. I am familiar with having to eat bar soap if I ever used a particular kind of language around the parentals in the day--but as a hair cleansing AND styling product? Wow.

The cake with the green frosting frightens me.

And yet, intrigues me.

Why would the frosting be green?

And you left me a comment a post or so ago and you had a link in it. To a picture, I'm guessing.

I don't know, though, because I couldn't get the link to work.

And now I can't rest until I see what I should be glad about that my mother didn't carve into the watermelon. (I don't think that sentence made any sense.)

Is it pistachio or something? I've heard that kind of thing can happen if you're not paying attention...the pistachio frosting attacks the cake and takes it over.

What a find!

My hair would beat me up in the middle of the night if I tried that.

Why am I cravin' cake?

H: I've never tried mouse, before, but maybe that's where they got the phrase "squeaky clean"?
W: It's a toss up (pun intended) whether it's pistachio or mint chocolate. My first impression was the former, but then I started to question the dark bits on top and whether I've ever seen pistachios that dark before.

I'll take that strawberry covered one, though, minus the stems.

btw, this is the 5th time I've typed in the word verification. maybe I've lost my mojo.
