The world has been crumbling since I announced I'd take the summer off.
Billy Mays, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and Karl Malden have died.
Among others.
I'm guessing it was because I stopped blogging.
You know they read my blog.
They died of broken hearts.
North Korea and Iran going all crazy?
Governor Palin quitting?
Hello? My fault.
I once had someone tell me I hurt people by closing my blog.
Originally I just passed her off as super co-dependent, but now I think...
maybe she was right.
Maybe I not only hurt people, I kill them, force them to quit their jobs, and make them want to shoot missiles.
I'd like to apologize.
I'd like to say it will never happen again, but...well...you know.
I'll do my best.
I don't want one more person to die, and so, I must resume blogging.
I blog so you won't die.
You can thank me later.
I'll stop thinking about my problems, and think more about you.
This is a lot of pressure.
It might take a lot of money too, so get your checkbook out.
P.S. As I typed this, a football player was found dead. Apparently I can't type this fast enough.

Can I pay you in baked goods?
I have LOTS of money--well, Monopoly money that is ; )
Okay, so I'm at work and I was able to be discreet while reading this. There's nothing wrong with smiling at a computer screen, even if you are at work. I enjoyed your post.
Then the PS made me burst out crying. Then I had to look around sheepishly and apologize for being weird. Totally worth it.
You forgot Ed McMahon, and David Carradine.
I have no money.....but I have chocolate!
I'm trying not to laugh. Really, I'm trying. Death is sad.
YOU are the best!!!
I totally agree that your blogging saves lives. Cause laughter is the best medicine! It's my favorite kind of medicine.
So you are way too funny for me to stay reverent for the dead. ROTFL
Whether celebs live or die, I'm just glad you'll blog again!
Good thing you finished your post before someone else died!
Oh my joy!
My happiness!
My inspiration!
At last you write.
Everyday I log on and see who's posted out here in blogger land.
Everyday I'm greeted with more silence.
If you can concern yourself with the sad reality of death due to carrotless lives, I too can find some inspiration to draw upon and update my blog as well!
Thank you thank you.
Yay! Glad your back!
So does this mean that there will be peace all over the world?
It's about time. I didn't put two and two together until it was too late and Michael was laid out on the slab.
LOL! Thankfully it's just celebrities that are dropping like flies, if you'd waited any longer it might have been people you actually KNOW.
I also blame you for the heartbreak of psoriasis......and for the itchy tag inside my undies.
Ah, it's good to know that you are going to do your part to keep folks alive and working. Already I feel better having read a new post by you.
Live long and prosper!
The world is a better place with Carrot Jello.
There's a Peck here with an acorn pointed at me!!
Yippee! I can't wait to see how my life improves after this. I'll keep you posted.
Thank you for keeping me alive---I am so relieved to know who is doing all the work....
Whew...I was scared to go out of my house for awhile there.
I thank you NOW. I'm glad that you've decided to grace us all with the presence of your blogging sunshine!
I haven't heard of any more celeb deaths, so you must be doing something right as of July 4th. I mean, not like you didn't do things right BEFORE then... oh, forget it. I don't wanna thank you later. I'm just thanking you now.
