March 25, 2006

I can die now. I met JP Patches today. My childhood dreams have come true. I used to watch him every week. We had to drive to a mall south of here to meet him, but it was worth it. Radio Disney was hosting a kids day, and JP was the emcee. He got done introducing the limbo, and went off to the side, and I ran over with my 2 year old in the stroller. My heart was pounding and I seriously felt like I was going to pass out. It was the most fabulous day of my life. It would be like someone watching Mickey Mouse Club religiously, and finally meeting Mickey Mouse. Or watching Bozo the Clown, and getting to talk to him. I don't know what it is about my childhood lately, but I find myself searching for things from it. I now have "H.R. Puffnstuff" and "The Bugaloos" as ringtones on my phone. What's next? Maybe a t-shirt with Holly and Chaka from "Land Of the Lost"? Or perhaps the theme song to the A-team on my blog
