Don't be afraid.
No, just come to Primary with me.
I've just discovered a treasure trove of
Stories about babies with crazy eyes, robot children, and fathers and mothers who haven't slept in years...
See?
Aren't I a fun Primary President?
People.
Just because we used it in 1959, doesn't mean we need to keep it in 2011.
I'm just sayin'.

Call me crazy, but I kinda like those 1950's flannel people!
But watcher in the wood - that is creepy.
Now I want to make my family gather 'round the piano every night to sing together!
So did you keep it or throw it out? Huh?
It's amazing what you will find in those old closets, eh. And the library, wow, real treasures ; )
and, sorry about the last comment.
They probably looked much nicer in the 1950's but after decades of books and manuals pressing on their faces, they are looking a bit like relatives of the present day Rolling Stones. They have been good and faithful servants, it is time they move on to the next life to receive their reward.
Have you ever seen this video?

It's called Two Weeks by the band Grizzly Bear.
They look eerily similar to the flannel board.
Oh, and you HAVE to watch the video to the end.
It's creepy on an unparalleled scale.
Sister Esther carefully pressed her family into the pages of her flannel board scrapbook along with her flower petals and perfumed love notes so that she may cherish them forever.
Forever.
I don't give a Nina, Pinta, or Santa Maria what that foolish upstart Columbus says. The world will always be flat for this loving family......
The Flat Family starring Flat Stanley!
Humor ensues when the Flat Family takes the stage in their flat located in Vista Flats while wearing their flats and protesting against the Flat Tats tattoo parlor that just opened up in the flannel board space next door.
Heathens!
The Flat Family shocked the church to its very core when every single member came out of the closet at the very same time.....
I'm gonna print that up and use it in my Sharing Time next week :)
Lamination is painful but worth it.
