Well that's over.

So, it's done.
The party is over.
I heard "Best Party Ever" and "Best Food Ever" at church yesterday.
And I got this e-mail...
"I kept asking people who were helping with stuff if they brought the food or had this idea or whatever and each time the answer was "Michelle".
That must have been a ton of work! But it was the most tasteful, thoughtful, and impressive Christmas party I've seen. You should hire yourself out for parties. I'm just way impressed."

BTW, I'm Michelle. Nice to meet you.
Would you like to hire me for your next party?
I specialize in 19th century shindigs.
Call me.

Yes, I would like to hire you...our ward party is Friday and I am STRESSED! Well maybe not all caps stressed but definitely lower cased stressed!

But on the plus side my WV is Rollo and that makes me happy...you can roll a Rollo to your friend, it's chocolate covered caramel from end to end!

Not surprised at all. Wish we could have been at your shindig... you interested in a long-distance calling? I happen to know *someone* in our bishopric that could make it happen. ;) I'm just glad that you're getting some appreciation for your hard work!

Yes! You can do our ward Christmas Party next year! I'm burned out and I may not be recovered by then!
(I knew your party was going to be great!)

You're hired!

But I can never call you "Michelle" - that is just too weird.

Great job. I admire anyone who can handle a ward Christmas dinner. (50 people for dinner is about my limit)

Now you can relax--RIGHT????

The picture says it all. And the movie line I immediately thought of?

"That'll do, pig. That'll do."

5 Internet points if you can guess the movie.

I think "Carrot Jello" is the better name for a party hostess :)

Way to go! Sounds like it was awesome :)
