when do I pick my old lady hairstyle?
Does that just evolve naturally, or is it a conscious decision?
I need to know.
And when do you decide that you can no longer do your hair yourself, and you need it styled every week by a beautician?
When you can no longer raise your arms above your shoulders?
When blow drying becomes tedious?
After all your friends have died and your subscription to People magazine runs out?
When you need a destination, but are too old for a vacation?
And what kind of old lady style?
Short?
Curled?
Long?
Straight?
Short and curled seems to be all the old lady rage right now.
(I think I worded that wrong. Old lady rage? Hate to run into that.)
I mean, all the rage with old ladies now.
The baby boomers are in between, I think.
Speaking of babies, my son has Ann Burrell hair.
Do you know who that is?
I don't know how I know who that is, but I do.
Some sort of chef.
Her hair started out like this...
And somehow ended up (a couple years later) like this...
< My son without hair and makeup.
This brings me to the reason I haven't been blogging.
"It does?"
Yes. It does.
Blogger changed.
I wanted to put those words above my sons picture, but I can't.
"It won't let you?"
Er...well...it probably would, but I'm not sure where the magic button is to fix it anymore.
Makes me look like I'm drunk blogging.
"And what does this have to do with your old lady hairstyle?"
I can't remember.
See?
I'm turning old lady, fast.
I need to pick my hairstyle before I forget I even have hair.
It's that important.
