Sometimes I talk too much and regret it later.
Even with blogging.
I guess you could say, I am ashamed.
It is with great sadness I tell you that,
I will not be shutting up any time soon.
Ha! You thought I was going to shut down, right?
I heard you,
"Oh boy, here we go again!"
Except, I don't think you said "Oh boy".

I mean if you want to say that, go ahead.
I'm just saying, when people win the lottery, I'm sure that's not their first choice of words.
I'll tell you who bosses me around word-wise.
My cell phone.
I can't shut the bossy-ness off either.
Boss, boss, boss.
That's all it does.
I'm trying to type, and it's constantly suggesting words to me.
I type,
"I'm going to barbecue..."
and it starts guessing,
"Cherstin (my daughter)...children...chihuahuas??"
It's so eager.
It's very politically correct too.
So much so that it won't let me write the letter "B" without guessing,
"african"
I'm sorry?
"African"?
I'm trying to type the word "black",
and your telling me I mean to say "African"?
Well, o.k. then.
I had this African dress on...
It's making me tell lies.
"I went to a b...."
"african."
"All right, I went to an African Party."
You don't believe me, do you?

So tonight, I'm was wondering where it thought I was going.
I typed,
"Tonight I think I will go to..."
and it starts in...
"the"
I press forward,
and it says,
and I'm thinking that the next word it will guess is "martini",
I press forward again,
I press forward once more, and-
It tells me that I am going to the dry cleaners,
and I am excited about it!
So I guess I should call it a night, and head on over to the dry cleaners!

That is weird...is it asking you if you went to a bafrican? Because, what is that?
And who goes to the dry cleaners on a Friday night? Boooooring.
I would like you to send me your number so I can send you random texts. And also, sometimes I like to sing to my friends...so if it is me calling? Don't answer it.
I would like my phone to tell me to do something fabulous that does not involve laundry of any kind.
I turned that feature off because my phone was . . . well . . . wrong about what it guessed I wanted to say.

really? african from a B. your phone is possessed. i think i'm going to play that game with my cell phone tonight. see what it tells me.
Maybe that's why I have an anti-texting attitude. That, or because it takes me about 10 years to type anything. I DO like to hyjack my husband's phone and send random texts to his friends. SO fun!

My phone is not as smart as yours (or as politically correct), but I do like when I type 'home' it always comes up with 'good' first. So I know it ain't dumb.

With a phone like that you would never have to get bored. If you are lacking something to do, just consult the phone and off you go.

You're right. I didn't believe you, but your evidence is irrefutable.
And I don't know anyone who would be excited about going to the dry cleaners. I wonder if the dry cleaning lobbyist group threw a little money at the phone companies to get that one in the auto-select system.
Then again, it's probably best to ignore my conspiracy theories.
My phone isn't nearly that bossy or creative. I want a new one!
