Jolly Old St. Nicholas

The following is a conversation I had with my 2 1/2 year old...
Nicholas: (handing me the digital camera) Mom, take a picture of me pweeease?
Me: Your face is all dirty (I had given him the brownie batter bowl to clean)
Nicholas: Pweeeeease mom?? Pweeeeease??
Me: Okay, but your face sure is dirty
*snap picture, and hand the camera to Nicholas to look*

Nicholas: (with a puzzled look on his face) What's on my face?
Me: That's brownie batter
Nicholas: Take another picture please!
*snap*....

He did a good job of hiding his messy face, didn't he? LOL.

I did think about you, actually. My friend lives in Langley and they've been told they won't have power for at least a week. Since they're on a well, that means no water, either.
Glad you're okay! Those trees are scary-last year a tree like that fell on my in-laws' house!

Oh my goodness! That may be the cutest pictorial in the history of cute kid pictorials. It's precious in its precociousness! A lovely holiday surprise!

P.S. You've been tagged. See my blog for details.

A storm? I didn't know nothing bout no storm but I'm mighty glad you folks is righter than rain and happier than pigs in a poke.

Your youngun is cute! We thought Melody had chocolate smeared all over her face too a couple years ago. Let me just say that was no chocolate. :(

I'm glad to hear that you are well . . . hope that's the last of the storms you'll see up there for a while . . .!
And yes, Nicholas is such a cutie . . . that conversation/pic series cracked me up! :)

So did you chew on his little face? Roz still gets pretty of face-chewing time. Darn those cute pudgy two year olds.

Glad you weathered the storm so well. It practically skipped right over us. One school cancelled classes the next day due to lack of power, but that was it. Hope your ward and town are back together soon.

I laughed out loud at that second picture. That is awesome. We should get our little guys together for a photo shoot. You bring the brownie batter and I'll bring the hillbilly teeth.

And I'm glad you've got your power back.

P.S. I hope the arm tells you you're not too traumatized by the storm.

Love that picture of Nicholas, especially where he's trying to cover up his messy face. LOL
