Once Upon A Time, I was talking on the phone to Elastic.
"Have your kids ever watched Arthur?" she asked me
I was shocked. What kind of Mother let's her kids watch Arthur?
"Uh, NOoo? Have you??" I said, incredulously.
"Yes." she said
"Why would you let them watch Arthur??" I asked
Silently wondering if she served her kids martinis and popcorn while they watched Dudley Moore parade around drunk with Liza Minnelli.
Then she says, "Well it's on PBS, it can't be that bad..."
"ohhhh, Arthur, the Aardvaark! I thought you meant Arthur, the movie I was never allowed to watch!"
Methinks I need to stop jumping to conclusions.
