Who else has that?
Anyone?
Nobody questions these things.
I mean, a summer breeze makes me feel fine too, but blowing through the jasmine in my mind?
I think not.
How about Bill Withers song, "Ain't No Sunshine"?
Love it.
Love it, but he says "I know" over 20 times in a row.
In a row, people.
"Carrot it's a good song, who cares?"
Wait, let me quote the song:
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
(I memorized it. Impressive, eh?)
Did he write that out?
Was it impromptu?
Did he forget the words, and just keep saying "I know" until he finally remembered the next line?

This is an awesome post, Carrot!
I was hanging onto a whole trash bag of holey, old dresses. It's amazing what the Lord can do in our lives if we'll let Him.
I'm just coming back to blogging. It's a tool. Let it serve its purpose, and if there's a time it doesn't, let the tool rest for a while.
I admit that I'd miss your humor. :)
Such a wonderful post. I love you! I love your strength and your wisdom.
And don't ever stop blogging. It always serves a purpose, even if it's for others.
Smooches :)
oh, don't stop blogging! I check your blog every day to see if there's something new!
And thanks for today's post, it really lifted my spirits. You rock.
I'm emailing you my comment!
I had a dream that I was trapped in a cave and the rescuers came and asked me if I was scared. I said, "no, I knew God would find me."
Blogging helped me overcome a lot of things.....like going through the jasmine in my mind.
Or should that be Jasmine with a capital J? As far as I know I still have my original brain with all the original damage and miles on it and I wasn't the recipent of a Jasmine brain transplant.
Touched by this.
Okay, so I don't usually comment, I just like to lurk..but I'm feeling compelled to comment! I love, love, love your blog! I think you must be my doppleganger. Except you're better. You say the things I'm thinking except they sound funnier when you write them than when I say them. So maybe you can throw me a bone once in a while and toss up an entry or two instead of quitting cold turkey? You see...I just discovered you and now I don't want to lose you!
I kept seeing comments from someone named Carrot Jello on the handful of blogs I follow. I finally decided to check you out....oh happy day for me! Now I follow you instead of most of the other blogs. Don't make me go back!!!
I'm from a small town in Western PA and when you're living with the Amish, well, you need some other forms of entertainment. Thanks for making my mornings fun.
So if you have to stop blogging, I'll pretend to understand, but really, I'll just feel betrayed. I'll feel as if you kicked my puppy and then ran him over. I'll never get over it. I'll be in therapy for quite some time. You should probably just blog. It would be cheaper for all involved.
Im so happy you are happy. but I still think you should stick around. It is a fun community to be part of, plus I love reading what you have to say.
I just attended a conference about patience, and it's amazing how much more settled I am with the kind of perspective you just talked about.
I'm glad you feel it too.
I'm happy you're still blogging! I like you.
(Missing you over at LDSM. I think your perspective added a lot to the posts. Please drop by to say "Hello" sometimes, even if we're dorks!)
