Good Morning?
My attempt at poetry...
‘Twas one in the morning and all thru my house,
Every kidlet was sleeping,
and so was my spouse
The laundry was stacked by the washer with care,
In hopes that the laundry fairy soon would be there.
The towels were all nestled deep in the pile.
And after a few days- things began to smell vile.
And I in my jammies, and my husband in his sweats
Had fallen asleep, with nary a fret.
When all of the sudden, there arose such a clatter,
I rose from my bed, to see what was the matter.
Away to the bathroom, I flew in a flash!
Tore off the covers and away I did dash!
When what to my tired old eyes did I see,
My husbands head in the toilet--So sick was he.
On vomit! On nausea! On sweating and and puking!
On tiredness! On sleeplessness! I give you rebuking!
To the top of the bedrooms, to the end of the hall
Now go away, go away go away all!
I hope I'm not next.
