Lazy blogging
Although I am a newbie, I find myself becoming a lazy blogger already. No more catchy titles to catch the readers attention. I figure those who like me will stay, and those who don't will look at my page and leave. Living off comments for a day or two, just so I don't have to blog. I know I'm not the only one that does this, and I find it to be the easy way to communicate. No thinking up clever things to say, just remark about peoples comments. I do think about blogging a lot, however. I think, "Oh, I should write about that so I can remember it!", and then I don't. Maybe it's the weather. It's unusually hot here for May. I think it got up to 90, which makes everyone feel like slugs because we're not used to it. At least I'm hoping everyone else feels like a slug, because I wouldn't want to feel bad. Maybe it's this lymph node infection under my jaw. I look like the elephant man. One side of my face swollen. What is up with that? So weird. I got up at 5 this morning to do my dishes I didn't do yesterday, and throw in laundry so it doesn't get mildew-y. Nothing worse than a hot house, smelly laundry and dirty dishes. Couldn't sleep anyway because my 7 year old crawled in bed with us. I finally signed my kids up for their first swimming lessons yesterday. Yes, I said first. They are 11, 9, and 7. The older two can swim, they just never learned the proper techniques. We actually had a little extra money, so I signed them up before it disappeared. Cost me $120, but it's worth it. My daughter has to go to girls camp this year, and, as my husband put it, drowning is more expensive than learning to swim, LOL.
