When they arrived at the infidel house, Carrot was afraid to get out of the car, and examined the ground intensely in hopes that there was nary a fire ant in sight.
There wasn't.
Elastic and her children welcomed Carrot into their house with open arms.
Okay, not really, but Carrot opened their arms and hugged each and every one of them.
Even if they didn't want to.
Carrot was greeted by things like this...

and was happy she had made it in the house without being bitten by fire ants, and attacked by flying roaches. made it to Texas. :)

No fire ants? Really? I'll have to tell my kids that. We go to TX in a couple of weeks (Dallas) and they are nervous about the fire ant thing ever since they accidentally watched "Bitten" on Animal Planet. (Damn TV.)
