mmm, fiber. So this morning, when I first woke up, I ate a banana. I have to eat something when I take my gloucosamine. Yeah, I'm old, I take joint juice, wanna fight? So a couple hours later, my kids get up, and my 12 year old starts setting the table for breakfast. I swear, she is an angel sent down from Heaven. We're out of cold cereal, and had pancakes for dinner last night, so she grabs this high fiber stuff I bought on vacation, and asks, "Can we have this for breakfast?" "Sure, if you want to" I said. Originally I bought it to make the muffin recipe on the back, then I realized it needed whole wheat pastry flour. I just threw mine out before we left. So I make the cereal, and pop my wheat bread out of the oven, and think to myself "Mmmm, hot wheat bread and honey!" So I immediately start slicing wheat bread for everyone, and take the cereal off the stove. I taste test it, and it tastes like paper and sawdust. Then I think to myself (again) "Mmmm, hot cereal and honey!" Everything tastes better with honey, don't you know? Well, my 10, 8, and 2 year old declined our less than tasty high fiber bran mix, and opt for instant oatmeal instead. We finished breakfast, and decided to do a big walk. Oye, seemed easy in the van. Two miles? No problemo! I kinda forgot that half of that was up some steep hills. I about died out there. So for lunch, since we're being so healthy, we decide to make turkey wraps. I opt for the turkey sandwich. Two thick slices of whole wheat bread, some turkey, pickles, lettuce, and a dollop of mustard. Mmmm Mmmmm good! Well, now it's mid day, and I realize we only have 1/4 a roll of toilet paper. Silly me. Now I have to go to the store just for toilet paper. I hate doing that. It's like announcing to everyone that you are doing to be in the bathroom for a while, so you'd thought it would be a good idea to run out and get more paper before you started. *ahem* I am so prideful. I keep putting it off. After all, we do have baby wipes. ;)
